Each year a small group of Christian teens grades 9-12 have the opportunity to learn and apply the disciplines, characteristics and knowledge it takes to become effective leaders. In his book Improving Your Serve, Charles Swindol focuses on a verse found in Mark’s account of the life of Jesus, Mark 10:45, saying of the verse, “at times this verse has haunted and convicted me." The truth found in this verse is seldom ‘lived out’ in the daily life of the Christian community.
